George Smit

George is 55 years old and has a B.Sc.QS. and is a member of the AIQS. He worked for numerous professional firms and as the National Development Manager for a large builder/developer.

He has 13 years property depreciation experience in Australia. He is a ”suitably experienced and qualified person” in terms of the ATO Tax Ruling 97/25. He works hard for his clients, and enjoys saving them money.

George intends registering with the Tax Agents Services Board as soon as their requirements/rules become known. Typically this became law on 1/3/10, but details thereof are not yet available!!!

George has Parkinson’s Disease, and had a Deep Brain Stimulator successfully implanted in 2004.

He is passionate about Rugby Union, and Australian wines particularly Cab Sav in the style best described as a ‘steel fist in a velvet glove”.

Sandi Smit

Sandi qualified as a radiographer. She is the admin Director and George’s support system. She is passionate about breeding birds specifically Pekin Ducks, Guinea fowl, Peacocks and ofcourse free-range chickens which with the foxes around, is a bit trying at times. Sandi fortunately also loves her wines but is more a Shiraz type of girl. Needless to say we have a well stocked cellar.
